A visit to the Notts Golf Club at Hollinwell is always a special occasion and so we were delighted that the club's members were able to welcome us to their glorious course, despite the challenges of Covid.
It was a blustery but largely sunny day with the wind playing a significant part in the day's play. The course itself was in superb condition and, as always, presented a tough challenge for all. It was a challenge that the home side met more effectively than the Society did but only just with the final result and 3.5 to 2.5 victory for the hosts.
Our thanks as always to the Club and its members for hosting us so well and allowing us to enjoy their course and their company. The Society's team on the day was: Trevor Tunnicliffe (Manager), George Sharp, Roy Dexter, Kevin Evans, Peter Hacker, David Millns, Bill Merry, Chris Goldie, Darren Bicknell, Matthew Boyce, Nigel Cowley and Jon Hardy.
