The first day of our 2 day match against the Flamingoes over the demanding International Golf Club ended with all square with 2 wins for each side and a halved match. The International is being set up for the KLM Dutch Open in September with the greenkeepers allowing the rough to grow to unimaginable proportions. With a fair amount of water on the course as well, it is fair to say that many balls were lost by all players intermingled with some excellent good golf.
Another great day for the Society with some old friendships renewed and some new ones made ahead of the third, decisive day tomorrow at Broekerpolder.
