Monday 10th May is the 95th birthday of the Society's oldest member, KPA (Pat) Mathews. Pat made his first-class debut for Sussex in 1950 before going up to Cambridge where he continued his first-class career. He not only won a Blue for cricket but also for golf and hockey.
In later years, Pat was the Society's Honorary Secretary for many years as well as professionally the Secretary of Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club.
