The Society returned to West Sussex Golf Club - Pulborough - to renew our match with the Men of that club after an absence of two years. It was, as always, a real treat to play 36 holes of foursomes over the magnificent course and enjoy a stunning lunch in the company of some lovely people.
The match itself was not as close as we would have liked. Once again, our morning form was not great with the home club taking a 4-1 lead and, whist we pulled it back somewhat in the afternoon, it was not quite enough. The loss however did not detract from what was another wonderful day, spent with lovely opponents over one of the country's most attractive golf courses.
The Society team was Richard Baker, Neil Burns, Tony Pigott, John Shepherd, Roy Dexter, Chris Goldie, Tim Wren, Jon Hardy, Guy McDonnell and Melville Guest.
