Our annual fixture at Farnham is always a delight and yet again we were greeted by blue skies and warm sunshine. The course was, as ever, in fantastic condition and the welcome from the members outstanding. Most of the matches were close but sadly for the Society, the results went against us as we went down 5 and a half to a half. Credit to our youthful pair of Chris Tremlett and David Griffiths for claiming our only half-point. Thanks also to Keith Wheatley fort getting the side together. Wheaters had to withdraw on the morning of the match through illness and he was greatly missed by us all.
