Defeat at Walton Heath but what a day!

Chairman Tony Pigott assembled a great side of 14 people for the second fixture of the CCGS season at Walton Heath. Here are his reflections on the day :

"After a fabulous weekend and great win at Rye the CCGC met again at Walton Heath on Sunday 5th March. What a day! The team performed on and off the golf course. Didn’t quite get the result against very strong opposition on there home course, but entertained as usual. Both my opponents morning and afternoon said this was their favourite match, that says it all.

Great course and lunch one of my favourite fixtures special day . Thanks all for again contributing the special message the CCGS gives."

The CCGS side was: Tony Pigott, Roy Dexter, Nigel Ross, Richard Baker, Julian Thompson, Tim Wren, Neil Lenham, Neil Burns, Chris Nash, Chris Adams, Bill Merry, Ted Rose, Jack Leaning and Guy McDonnell.
