We have all been affected by the Covid-19 and the disruption to the CCGS Fixture List continues. There are however some signs of a return with some of our Summer fixtures now rearranged for the next few months.
So far this year, we have only played two fixtures - at Walton Heath and West Sussex. Shortly after our visit to Pulborough in March, the world changed and we have been waiting patiently ever since for a resumption of our fixtures. But, we return on Monday 24th August at Worcester Golf and Country Club under the management of Nigel Cowley for 18 holes and a socially distanced barbecue and in September, we visit Royal Ashdown Forest twice - to play the Ladies on Thursday 24th September and the Men on Thursday 1st August. Both matches are 8 a side.
Whilst a number of September fixtures have been cancelled, the following matches are still on:
Royal Porthcawl, Brookmans Park, Stoneham, Royal Ashdown, Hollinwell, West Hill, Autumn Meeting, Berkshire Girls, West Sussex Ladies, Enmore Park, Royal St George's and Denham. Of course, this might change over the next few weeks but if you are keen to play, please contact the Match Manager.
Happily the 2021 fixture list is coming together and we hope to have a full schedule of matches next year.
