The 2023 CCGS season was another fine year of great golf, superb hospitality and true friendships among our members and our hosts. It was, as most seasons are, a mixture of victories and defeats but results are fleeting. Our memories of another wonderful series of matches across the country will endure for a lifetime.
For the record, in 2023, the Society played 37 matches. 12 were won, 8 were halved and 16 lost. 122 different players represented the Society over the year. 59 played just one match whilst 14 played 10 or more. 13 are current professional cricketers whilst 26 have played Test cricket. A further 5 have played one-day internationals.
